Our private beach
The Kiteboarding Club El Gouna has a long and sandy private beach, reserved exclusively for kite surfers. With a width of about 800m, it offers plenty of space for launching and landing your kite. The several square kilometers large lagoon is located directly on our private beach and makes it very easy to get into the water.

Kite spot
The huge shallow lagoon offers big advantages for kite surfers of all skill levels: For starting you can comfortably align your kite and board while you are standing. Less wind waves make kitesurfing more easy and offer ideal conditions for freestyle kitesurfers
Downwind (on the right side of the spot graphic) a swimming area separates us from the other kite stations on the beach. Upwind (left) our spot offers unlimited space, so you will never have the feling that it is too busy on the water. The reef (top of the spot graphic) separates the shallow lagoon from the rest of the Red Sea anf filters wind waves efficiently. Certainly you can kitesurf also in the deep water without any risk. Our rescue boat is always on standby if there is wind.
Wind
The wind blows almost always side-onshore from left on our beach (from north-north-westerly direction). It comes directly and unturbulenced from the Red Sea and is therefore very constant. You can find the actual wind strenght and more details on our LIVE weather page.
